Identifying the Licensing System

Nauticus Hull versions prior to version 21.0 use the legacy licensing system. If you are using Nauticus Hull version 21.1 or later, please refer to the new licensing system documentation.

License types

The legacy licensing system provides three types of licences:

Network

License is managed through a network licence server, allowing the DNV software to run on any client PC connected to that network.

Dongle (not sold anymore)

License is installed on a locked USB dongle, which allows the DNV software to run on any client PC connected to that dongle.

Standalone

License is installed locally on a single client PC running the DNV software.
